Privacy Policy — Riftcount: Score Tracker

Riftcount: Score Tracker ("the app", "we") is built privacy-first. We do not run our own servers, we do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking, and we do not sell or share your data. This policy explains exactly what the app does with information.

Summary: Everything you create in the app stays on your device. The app only talks to the internet when you use the Events features or search for stores, and even then nothing about you is stored by us.

1. Information stored on your device

Your scores, game timer, dice settings, decks, game history, tile colors, favorite stores, and app preferences are stored locally on your device only. This information is never uploaded to us or anyone else. Deleting the app removes it.

2. Signing in to Events (tournaments)

The Events features connect to the Riftbound Locator, operated by UVS Games. To use them you sign in with your existing Riftbound Locator account:

• Your email and password are sent once, over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, directly to the Riftbound Locator to log you in.
• We never store your password. It is not saved to disk, not logged, and not retained after the login request.
• When login succeeds, only an opaque session token is stored securely in the device Keychain so you stay signed in. Signing out, or deleting the app, removes this token.
• While signed in, the app fetches your events, pairings, standings, and registrations from the Riftbound Locator to display them. This information is shown live and is not stored by us.

Your Riftbound Locator account is managed by UVS Games, not by us. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policy.

3. Store search

When you search for stores by city, the text you type is sent to Apple's geocoding service to convert it into a location, which is then used to find nearby stores via the Riftbound Locator. We do not access your device's GPS location.

4. No tracking or analytics

The app contains no advertising, no analytics, no third-party tracking SDKs, and no cross-app or cross-site tracking. We do not build a profile of you.

5. Third-party services

• UVS Games / Riftbound Locator — used for the optional Events and store features. See UVS Games' privacy policy for how they process your account and tournament data.
• Apple — geocoding for city search, and standard system services.
